This page sets out the policy, standards, and fees for all sponsored content published on Wander Somewhere and Wander Scotland. It is designed to ensure that collaborations align with our brand values, uphold editorial integrity, provide genuine value to our audience, and comply with relevant advertising and disclosure regulations.

We only accept editorial posts that align with our themes, values, and ethos. We do not accept link insertions. And we turn down more requests than we accept.

Fees

Our standard sponsored post fee and discounts for multi-post packages.

  • The standard fee for a single sponsored post on Wander Scotland/Wander Somewhere is £120 unless otherwise agreed.

    This fee covers editorial review, light editing, publication, disclosure compliance, and submission for Google indexing. We may charge an admin fee for future article updates.

    • Reduced-rate packages are available for advertisers commissioning more than one sponsored article.

    • Packages are designed for brands seeking sustained visibility, improved topical authority, and longer-term alignment with our audience.

    • Package pricing is confirmed in advance and reflects the scope, number of posts, and overall collaboration length.

    Please note:

    • Package discounts apply only to multi-article collaborations agreed in advance.

    • One-off posts are charged at the standard rate above.

Payment Terms

Due to the immediate publication of sponsored content, the following payment terms apply:

  • Publication: Sponsored posts are published immediately upon approval.

  • Payment Deadline: Invoices must be settled in full within 3 business days of issue (unless otherwise agreed in advance). If payment is not received within this timeframe, the sponsored post will be unpublished until payment is confirmed.

Payment Options:

  • Payment link issued by Wander Somewhere / Wander Scotland

  • Invoice (payable via the details provided)

  • PayPal (the advertiser is responsible for all associated transaction fees)
