About

Our Ethos

A single Gaelic word encapsulates our ethos of showing you authentic Scotland: fìor (feer) meaning true, genuine or authentic.

We don't focus on Scotland’s history nor visit the tartan tourist traps; we’ll show you what makes Scotland spectacular today: its dramatic landscapes, hidden waterfalls, independent eateries, and speciality coffee shops. Of course, we’ll visit castles and whisky distilleries too!

Your driver & Guide

Trev has years of experience and local knowledge to expertly guide you around Scotland. He won’t be wearing a kilt and, unless you ask, he won’t tell you stories about the Jacobites, fairies or selkies.

Trev loves meeting & talking to people from all over the world. He lives in the Highlands in the summer and splits his time between Edinburgh and Spain in the winter. He’s a qualified Mountain Leader so when he’s not tour guiding, he takes visitors on hikes in and around Glen Coe. This sets him apart from other tour guides as he can accompany you beyond the car park to explore forest walks, hidden waterfalls, and even more challenging hikes.

Trev worked in software for 20 years, but decided to swap the office for the Scottish Highlands and more time outdoors. He’s partial to speciality coffee and cake, craft beer and independent eateries, so he knows the best places to visit!
