About
Our Ethos
A single Gaelic word encapsulates our ethos of showing you authentic Scotland: fìor (feer) meaning true, genuine or authentic.
We don't focus on Scotland’s history nor visit the tartan tourist traps; we’ll show you what makes Scotland spectacular today: its dramatic landscapes, hidden waterfalls, independent eateries, and speciality coffee shops. Of course, we’ll visit castles and whisky distilleries too!
Your driver
Trev has years of experience and local knowledge to expertly guide you around Scotland. He won’t be wearing a kilt and, unless you ask, he won’t tell you stories about the Jacobites, fairies or selkies.
Trev lives in the Highlands in the summer and splits his time between Edinburgh and Spain in the winter. He’s a qualified Mountain Leader who guides visitors on hikes in the Glen Coe and Glen Nevis area. This sets him apart from other tour guides, as he can accompany you beyond the car park to explore forest walks, hidden waterfalls, and more challenging hikes.
Trev worked for 20 years as a software consultant in Edinburgh, but decided that the Scottish Highlands was a more suitable office. He’s partial to speciality coffee and cake, craft beer and independent eateries, so he knows the best places to visit.
