Nestled at the tip of Loch Leven, this boutique Glencoe hotel is a strong contender for “best view”. Overlooking both the loch and Pap of Glencoe, it’s a truly breathtaking location. The private gardens are my favourite spot for a G&T on a sunny afternoon. The rooms are light and bright, with modern tones and heaps of space.
In addition, guests can relax in the bar, eat in the restaurant, and enjoy the on-site swimming pool and sauna.
Glencoe House Hotel
This luxury hotel in Glencoe offers five-star service and refined accommodation, with spectacular views of the loch and village. The suites are spacious and elegantly furnished, and best of all, dinner is served each night at your own candlelit dining table. Glencoe House Hotel is the perfect option for travellers seeking a tranquil atmosphere and a luxury experience.
Creag Mhor Lodge
A family run Victorian lochside lodge located on the shores of Loch Linnhe surrounded by stunning scenery. rooms are either loch or garden facing, with ensuite facilities and comfy beds, plus there’s an impressive whisky bar and easy access to both Glencoe and Fort William.
The Ballachulish Hotel
The Ballachulish Hotel is a homely Glencoe hotel with heaps of character. Stay for cosy rooms, roaring fires, delicious seafood in the onsite restaurant, easy access to nearby walks, and Highland highlights like the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
Holly Tree Hotel
All 20 rooms in this little hotel enjoy magnificent sea views, there’s an informal bistro lounge serving great food and drink all day, and an outside decking area to watch the passing boats. In the evening there’s a lovely seafood restaurant equally impressive views. But the swimming pool and hot tub are the real winners.

This is easily our favourite Glencoe guest house. Set on the shores of Loch Linnhe with dramatic views of Glencoe, the Hebrides and Ardnamurchan, Cuilcheanna House has been thoughtfully and sustainably renovated to create a homely retreat with a shared dining space and lounge. There are eight beautiful bedrooms, all stylish and named after Scottish islands.
Camus House
Camus House is a welcoming family-run guest house with comfortable, spacious rooms and beautiful lochside views. Each room includes a private bathroom, while the shared lounge and garden provide a relaxing place to unwind after a day exploring Glencoe and the surrounding Highlands.
The sunsets here are particularly lovely on a clear evening, with the garden overlooking the water.

Aos Sí Wellness Lodge offers a more secluded and luxurious stay near Glencoe, with a stylish cabin designed around rest, nature, and slow Highland living. The one-bedroom lodge includes modern interiors, a private outdoor space, and a jacuzzi overlooking the surrounding scenery, making it a particularly good choice for couples seeking a quieter escape or romantic retreat.

Aos Sí Lodge
Aos Sí Lodges offer a cosy and romantic one-bedroom stay near Glencoe, blending cabin-style comfort with a more unique, almost Nordic, yurt-inspired design. Tucked away amongst the trees in Ballachulish, the lodge feels private and peaceful, with warm wooden interiors, oversized beds, and striking freestanding baths, making it especially popular with couples.
Despite the secluded setting, you’re still within easy reach of Glencoe’s main viewpoints, walking trails, and scenic drives. Breakfast is also available, adding to the slower, retreat-like feel of the stay.

Beach House with Hot Tubs
If you’re looking for hot tub stays in Glencoe, Beach House offers a luxurious lochside stay, with modern beach-style villas overlooking Loch Linnhe. Each property includes spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, private terraces, and outdoor hot tubs, making them particularly well-suited to longer stays, families, or couples seeking a more private Highland escape.
There are four bedrooms, sleeping nine people.

Ardno House B&B
With only two double bedrooms, Ardno House B&B offers an intimate and cosy stay in a more rural spot near Glencoe. Rooms are comfy and spacious, with private bathrooms, and a shared lounge with views over the surrounding hills and water.
Highland Croft B&B
Located right on the waterfront, Highland Croft B&B has excellent reviews. Guests especially mentioned the hearty breakfast and friendly owners, and they loved the simple but cosy rooms, and, of course, the cute animals that share this working croft! The real winner is the location - with views over the loch and the surrounding mountains, this small stay delivers a serene and homely experience.
