The 5 Best Rooftop Bars in Benidorm for Bougie Cocktails

Spain

Benidorm may have made its name with high-rise hotels and hedonistic nights on the infamous strip. But if your tastes lean more toward stylish sundowners, you’ll be pleased to know there’s another side to this coastal city, which I was delighted to discover: Benidorm’s bougie rooftop bars.

We recently spent a lush night sampling cocktails alongside gorgeous skyline views and a trendy DJ, and I can confirm that rooftop bars in Benidorm offer the chicest option for evening drinks.

Our favourite rooftop option? Easily Selvático, with plush loungers, designer cocktails, infinity pool, and views of the Mediterranean.

No matter which you choose, these elevated escapes are a world away from the crowds and chaos below, yet within easy walking distance of the beach and the town’s best hotels.

Whether you’re here for sundown sips with the girls, a romantic nightcap, or a stylish spot to take in the cityscape, Benidorm delivers with rooftop venues that combine thoughtful design, polished service, and mellow music.

All in an atmosphere that feels a little more like a private club than a package holiday.

In this guide, you’ll find the best of Benidorm’s rooftop bars, chosen for their aesthetics, ambience, and all-around opulence. And, of course, their incredible drinks.

Quick Guide: Rooftop Bars in Benidorm

A quick overview of the best rooftop bars in the coastal town. You’ll find more details below!

  • Selvático Rooftop Bar: Lush jungle vibes with an infinity pool and DJ sets. Adults only. This is my favourite option!

  • La Terrasse: Sophisticated setting with cocktails and sunset views over Levante Beach.

  • Planta20: Sleek and elegant with some of the best views in town. Great for sunset cocktails.

  • The Secret Fountain Roof Bar Garden: Lively option with a pool, top cocktails, tables and bookable sofas.

  • Barceló Beach Bar: Glamorous terrace with buzzy vibes, top cocktails, and beach views.

It would be remiss of me not to mention that there are other rooftop bars in Benidorm, which haven’t made their way onto this list. This guide focuses on Benidorm’s most stylish rooftop terraces and skyline drinks spots, and we’re skipping bars that didn’t meet the vibe check.

Rooftop Bars For Cocktails in Benidorm

Selvático Rooftop Bar

Perched atop the Hotel Primavera Park, Selvático offers a tropical-inspired oasis in the heart of Benidorm. With panoramic views of the city skyline and the Mediterranean Sea, this adults-only venue combines lush greenery with modern design elements, creating a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere.

This is the rooftop bar we chose, and honestly, it was gorgeous.

From the moment we arrived, the servers were attentive; we nabbed a group table easily; the DJ played good beats; and the expertly crafted cocktails were the best on our trip. And watching the sun go down over the Mediterranean was a real highlight.

The vibe stayed mellow and chilled, which I appreciated; I’m not a party girl, and pre-dinner aperitifs are more my thing! After cocktails, we popped downstairs to the seriously boujee restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

All the cocktail and rooftop bar photos in this post are from Selvático, and I highly recommend making time to come here one evening.

Book: Selvático is open to non-hotel guests in the afternoon, and tables are first-come, first-served (unless you’re booking this boujee package). Arrive before sunset to avoid the queues, especially during the busy summer months.

La Terrasse at Port Benidorm Hotel

Situated on the 19th floor of the Port Benidorm Hotel, La Terrasse offers stunning views of Levante Beach and beyond. This chic rooftop bar provides a refined, relaxed setting to enjoy cocktails, music, and contemporary tapas, and its modern styling makes it a favourite among locals and tourists.

Visit for sunset if you can; the golden hour photo opps here are spectacular.

Booking: Open to non-residents; book a table here.

Planta20 Lounge & Bar at Hotel Madeira Centro

Located on the 20th floor of the Hotel Madeira Centro, Planta20 offers one of the best panoramic views of Benidorm and the coastline. This rooftop bar gets good reviews for its varied cocktails, though it’s a more casual spot than others on our list.

Booking: Open to the public; no reservation required.

Sky Bar at Gran Hotel Bali

As Europe's tallest hotel, Gran Hotel Bali's Sky Bar offers a remarkable experience on its 52nd floor. Enjoy craft cocktails from expert mixologists while taking in the Benidorm skyline and Mediterranean views.

Book: No reservation required.

Barceló Beach

The B-Heaven rooftop bar is a little paradise at the top of the city. You’ll find this bar on the roof of the Barceló Hotel, where the decor is suitably stylish, with a pool, cocktail bar, and, of course, those beautiful beachy views. Open year-round, the rooftop bar becomes a lively venue on Fridays and Saturdays, with DJs and entertainment.

Book: Open to non-hotel guests in the evenings; no reservation required.
