Where to Find Speciality Coffee in Glencoe: Inside the Glencoe Farm Shop & Café
There’s a new stop in Glencoe that feels noticeably different from the more traditional cafés and roadside spots you’ll find in the village.
Modern, stylish, and centred around really good coffee, the new farm shop and café has quickly become one of our favourite places to pause for a flat white and something sweet after a walk in Glencoe.
Using beans from Inverness Coffee Roasting Co., the coffee here is genuinely excellent - smooth, rich, and made properly. Pair it with one of the homemade cakes (the gooey banana chocolate muffins are worth the stop alone) and you’ve got one of the best coffee breaks in Glencoe.
The café came about after owner Chris Horsley purchased and completely renovated the former Glencoe Village Shop, transforming it into the modern Glencoe Farm Shop & Café.
Passionate about supporting local farmers, Highland estates, and sustainable Scottish producers, the space has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate high-quality Scottish food and drink in a much more contemporary setting than you might expect to find in Glencoe.
Alongside the café, the farm shop offers a carefully selected range of takeaway produce, including meat from nearby estates, craft beers from local brewers, and small-batch Scottish products that feel far more boutique than your average roadside stop.
It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a quick coffee break, stocking up for a cottage stay, or discovering a more modern side of the Highlands food scene.
