The Best Aviemore Lodges With Hot Tubs

Looking for the best Aviemore lodges with hot tubs? My top picks are:

Everything you need to know about Aviemore lodges

Minimum nights

For most Aviemore lodges (but not all), you’ll need to stay for a minimum number of nights. Usually this is around three or four, which gives you plenty of time to both explore the Cairngorms and relax in your lodge.

What’s included

All the Aviemore lodges on this list have a kitchen, lounge area, and linen included. But how well-equipped your lodge is, or how basic, completely depends on the lodge and it’s worth reading the lodge description in detail.

That way you know what to expect - and what extras to pack.

This is especially true when it comes to luxury items. For example, if you have a wood-burning stove is firewood included? And if you have a sauna, are robes available?

What to pack

No matter what type of trip to Aviemore you’re having, there are several essential items you’ll want to pack for a lodge getaway. Other than your personal items and kitchen essentials, the most important are:

  • Firstly, walking gear. With so many incredible walks around Aviemore and the Cairngorms, you’ll definitely want to spend time outdoors. In winter, be sure to pack your winter hiking gear.

  • Secondly, packing for winter means your favourite comfy clothes. That means lots of wool, fleece, and layers.

  • If you have an Aviemore lodge with a hot tub, then remember to pack your bathing suit!

  • Lastly, remember to pack entertainment for your lodge. For me, that’s a good book, board game, and my portable speaker.

Good to know

In my experience, things that are good to know about your lodge stay are: where is the closest supermarket, is your lodge completely private, how do you access the lodge, and does your Aviemore lodge have parking. And, if you’re bringing young children or a dog, is the garden private and fenced off.
