Disclaimer & Responsibility
This Disclaimer & Responsibility Policy outlines the terms under which Wander Somewhere provides digital itineraries, guides, and related travel planning content. By purchasing or using any Wander Somewhere products or services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. General Use of Information
All itineraries, guides, and maps are provided for general informational and planning purposes only.
Information is prepared with care, but Wander Somewhere does not warrant that details (including, but not limited to, opening times, prices, routes, transport schedules, or third-party availability) are always accurate or up-to-date.
2. Traveller Responsibility
Travellers are solely responsible for making their own bookings, verifying all arrangements, and ensuring the suitability of activities, accommodations, transport, and routes.
Scotland is a popular travel destination. Accommodations, restaurants, ferries, and certain activities often sell out well in advance. It is the traveller’s responsibility to allow sufficient time to make bookings.
Wander Somewhere cannot be held responsible if a traveller’s preferred options or routes are unavailable at the time of booking.
3. Third-Party Services
Wander Somewhere may reference or recommend third-party providers, including accommodation operators, restaurants, tour companies, transport providers, or attractions.
Wander Somewhere has no control over these providers and accepts no responsibility for the quality, safety, reliability, or availability of their services.
All bookings and transactions with third parties are undertaken at the traveller’s own risk and discretion.
4. Travel Risks
Travel inherently involves risks, including but not limited to delays, cancellations, weather disruptions, accidents, and health issues.
By using Wander Somewhere products, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for your own safety, health, belongings, and travel arrangements.
Wander Somewhere accepts no liability for any injury, loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience arising directly or indirectly from the use of its products or reliance on its content.
5. Insurance
Wander Somewhere strongly recommends that all travellers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy before travelling.
At a minimum, such insurance should cover trip cancellations, travel delays, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and loss or damage to personal belongings.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wander Somewhere disclaims any liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or reliance on any content provided.
Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
